What will you be doing?:
As a Accountant you are responsible for:
  • The daily accounting follow-up of a number of entities of the BDO Group (including checking the monthly VAT return, preparing supplier payments, etc.)
  • The quarterly and annual closure for a number of companies
  • Preparing tax returns and reporting about them to the Head of Finance
  • Drawing up the annual accounts and following up various reports
  • The follow-up of all possible questions by internal clients
  • Working on a number of projects, e.g. analysing accounts at the request of Controlling
What do you bring to the table?:
  • You have a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, for example in Accountancy
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch (written and spoken) and a good knowledge of French, or a very good knowledge of French (written and spoken) and a good knowledge of Dutch.
  • A good knowledge of Navision or a similar accounting package is an added value; a good knowledge of Excel is indispensable.
  • You are very accurate and you work in a structured manner.
  • You are flexible and have a positive attitude.
  • You ensure open communication with your team members and you are a real team player.
