Biobest's data-driven monitoring & scouting business is developing and expanding rapidly. For the head office in Westerlo, we are looking for Product Manager Hightech IPM Monitoring & Scouting for a temporary mission. The Product Manager will work closely with the Market Development Manager High-Tech. As a specialist, the Product Manager will be the point of contact for his/her product portfolio and enthuse a diverse audience, both internally and externally.

What does your role at Biobest look like for you?- You will be part of the Business Development Department and take care of Biobest's scouting and monitoring portfolio including high-tech products like Trap-Eye Crop Scanner as well as the more standard sticky traps and rolls.
- You will support product launches in close cooperation with all departments involved: R&D, Operations, sales, local teams in different countries.
- You work in tandem with the Market Development Manager High-Tech to translate customer/market needs into new opportunities and/or improvements by regular and direct contact with our growers.
- You prepare marketing plans in cooperation with the local teams and coordinate their implementation to successfully bring new products to the market.
- You also provide training and education for our technical and commercial people.
- You manage and build relationships with external partners.
What do we expect from you and why do you fit into the Team?
- You have a higher degree as a bioengineer, biologist or within life sciences. A passion for sustainability and innovation is a must!
- You have 5 years’ experience in product management preferably in an international context.
- If you can demonstrate us that you successfully combine your expertise with a customer-oriented and entrepreneurial attitude, we would like to meet you.
- You look back with pride on realised projects, in which you have been able to use your analytical, communication and project management skills.
- You are fluent in English. Other languages are an important asset.
- You are available for minimum 6 months from (mid) July to (mid) January.
