What are your main responsibilities?

  • Strategizes, oversees and coordinates successful execution clinical studies.
  • Leading a well-organized department of Clinical Research Professionals with focus on qualitative service delivery.
  • Oversees quality of data collection, management and resources in adherence with the project timelines, budget and quality standards.
  • Driving leadership engagement and stakeholder collaboration, interacts with and manages vendors and stakeholders, as required.
  • Oversees start-up, enrolment, follow up and closure of clinical trial activities with focus on Medical Devices and Biotech.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Establishes and cultivates a wide range of business relationships to facilitate completion of assignments.
  • Determines goals and objectives for projects.
  • Has a client-oriented and commercial mindset.
  • Leads projects within the function or department and/or represents a specialized field in larger project teams. Influences middle management on business solutions.
  • Represents the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
  • Interacts with senior internal management and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between involved team members and stakeholders.
  • Uses discretion, diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in biological or (para-) medical sciences
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience withing clinical operations in a CRO organization is a must
  • Knowledge of the medical device and MedTech field is an asset
  • Strong listener & sensitive to cultural differences
  • Team player
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrates ability to manage and oversee projects and related team activities
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities/deadlines
  • Demonstrates ability to make timely and well-reasoned decisions
  • Proficient in English – Dutch and/or French is an asset
