Let’s talk about the role!
As Junior Online Merchandiser you will provide direct support to the Senior Online Merchandiser in the execution of the Kipling merchandising plans for the assigned lines of products. Improving the online merchandising experience of the website, ensuring products are online and merchandised effectively.
In this role you will be responsible for the product onboarding, new season product launches on the website across all markets and you will have direct impact on the consumer experience.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:

Manage the product onboarding process from A to Z, including optimization and ensure launch dates are met

Contributing to merchandising across the websites for all markets

Manage product databases, ensuring are up to date and accurate

Manage and maintain category database on the website

Collaborate closely with digital marketing team, support with website link and email checking

Align with the marketing team on content needs across the website

Oversee and support with uploading of relevant site content (PLP, Navigation, PDP etc)

Work with the Senior Online Merchandiser in creating promotional discounts for sales and promotional activities

Close monitoring of the website – applying ad hoc corrections where needed

Work with CX & operations team to optimize the merchandising experience

Support with user testing related to merchandising for website updates and improvements

Support with product personalisation project

Skills for Success
To succeed as Junior Online Merchandiser, you must have excellent organisational skills and have good analytical skills to ensure effective merchandising. We are looking for someone who has/is:

The ability to organise planned product launches effectively and on time.
-
The capability to quickly adapt to promotional activities throughout the year.
-
An understanding of effective online merchandising.
-
An expertise in product creation for the website, ensuring product descriptions, images are correct.
-
A keen interest in digital online shopping behaviour.
-
Good problem-solving skills. Encounters similar problems which require some fact finding, clarification, and basic analysis.

Knowledge of excel is a plus but not a must
