We are looking for a skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our Team in Zaventem, Brussels.

As the role holder, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and control of the EMEA operation whilst achieving agreed budgetary and service levels. You will provide an effective and reliable service to customers and Field Services Engineer whilst meeting all requirements.

In this position you will play a strategic role in driving state of the art Logistics Operations with a continuous improvement mindset. Management in some cases requires a hands-on approach to finding novel solutions to the various Logistics Operations activities across EMEA.

What To Expect:

· Manage third-party logistics providers within the EMEA and align processes within it

· Ensure demo inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with an automated system.

· Collaborate with the EMEA warehouse manager to ensure that all activities are in line with the EMEA warehouse process. (Including the Hologic Cycle Count process).

· Create policies and procedures for EMEA Logistics Operation activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems.

· Create and implement the best EMEA Logistics Operation practice principles, policies, and processes.

What We Expect:

· Proven experience in logistics and warehouse environment, one year of which should be in a manager capacity working in a ‘multiple logistics operation environment’ and have the ability to manage and motivate others.

· Experience with global trade compliance for export and import of materials.

· Management of site relationship between 3PL sites and inter-company customer service.

· Experience in Cold Chain and management of Supply Chain of highly regulated products is an advantage.

· Conversant with ERP systems like Oracle / SAP and Planning forecasting software.

· Experience in Pharma, medical devices, food, or regulated products supply chains

· Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques would be advantageous.
